The Discovery SDT 650 is a simultaneous DSC-TGA system that measures heat flow and weight change on the same sample from ambient temperature up to 1500 °C. It features a heat-flux DSC design with separate sample and reference pans, calibrated using sapphire for accurate heat flow measurements. Automated furnace movement and a horizontal purge gas system enhance ease of use and performance. A separate Inconel tube supports the introduction of reactive gases into the sample chamber. Additional features include Hi-Res™ TGA, Modulated TGA™, and Modulated DSC® capabilities. The unit is powered by TRIOS software, offering advanced experiment control, automated calibration, and intuitive data analysis tools.
